Formulation Review Report | Project B Vision+

Product Studied: Project B Vision+

Introduction
We at Project B emphasize on being bare and transparent of our product ingredient and formulation. We have an extensive product development stage, carefully engineer every product to ensure they work. As a part of our groundwork, we reach out to a number of independent nutritionist for a blind test to compare the nutritional information and ingredients of our formula with the available brands in the market.

Under this review, we reached out to independent nutritionist to compare the nutritional information and ingredients of eye vitamins from two other brands: Doctor's Best, Life's Extension and Project B, to see if there was any way to improve it. This was a blind test, that Doctor's Best's, Life's Extension's and Project B's names are never disclosed during the creation of the reviews. The nutritionist was not paid or given anything to endorse any of these products.

This product has been studied and fine-tuned for over 37 months before the formulation is confirmed. We took another 6 months to test its efficacy profile on over 38 individuals before it is being delivered to you. This part of the report reviews the product formulation, where we have another part of the report displays the results of the efficacy profile.

Who are the formulators
We work closely with Dr Gerome D. during the study and selection of ingredients for vision and eye care. Dr Gerome is a renown ophthalmologist in his field with over 12 years of professional experience serving in France, he specializes in surgical eye care and has worked on celebrities as his clientele.

Here, we took over 37 months to finalize the product formula, where ingredients are ensured at their optimum effective dose, complement with its product efficacy profile and portfolio.

Who have we approached
We wanted to carry out a fair review of our product, so we have invited Ms. Lau MY, an independent nutritionist with over 6 years of experience working as NPD product manager at listed FMCG company. We believe Lau has the capability in sounding a credible opinion in view of her profession in the associated industry. We look forward to gaining some insights from the review generated.

The information we provided for review
Below, you can see the images the nutritionist was provided:

It was a totally blind test. The nutritionist was paid for her time producing the reviews, but not to endorse or favour any product. The reviews below aren't perfect, and we are the first to admit such. However, Lau is expert in her field, highly professional and have provided some great insights to highlight between the three products.

The results in brief

Rank 1: Project B Vision+
Rank 2: Doctor's Best, Lutein from OptiLut
Rank 3: Life Extension, Tear Support with MaquiBright

The results
The following review produced have not been edited or altered in any sense, it is the original piece that the independent nutritionist has provided. This review is conducted based on 3 brands: Life's Extension (Product A), Project B (Product B) and Doctor's Best (Product C).

Nutritionist: Lau MY (Ms)
My career and day-to-day job keeps me aware of the latest product trends and research developments in the industry, so this collaboration is an interesting approach. Moving right into this review, although this is a simple table provided, but as I take it from a macro perspective, this comparison is actually true and reveals the lacking area in the market - eye supplement is so under developed and many big brands focus on simple ingredient approach like that ingredient list displayed in Product A and Product C.

Product B is worth commending, not merely because they offer longer ingredient list, I give it because the formulation also includes basic vitamin and mineral complex. Every vitamin and mineral unit have their own responsibility and place in our biological system - we may think vitamins are so basic, but we don't get this in all eye supplements and I appreciate the completeness. Noticed saffron is also present, saffron is trending in the market, I looked up deeper for its role in eye, to understand that saffron has the ability to regulate gene expression responsible for key vision cells, this action may have the potential to reverse blindness, impressive.

I select Product B for these reasons:
1. Product formula is far more complete than Product A and Product C
2. All ingredients selected have their own role and have established research to support the benefits for eyes
3. Justifiable price per serving

Author's Note: We had no contact with Lau MY before the test was conducted, and she had never heard of Project B until after the results were gathered. These results were entirely independent and blind on her behalf.
